About Jessy

My name is Jessy Vetter, and I am based in France. Currently, I work at La Poste Groupe as a Network Architect. In my role, I am responsible for building a high-availability infrastructure and managing a DCI (Data Center Interconnect) project. I also oversee the migration plan from a legacy to a new multi-DC infrastructure. My goal is to ensure seamless transitions and robust network solutions that support the organization’s operational needs and strategic objectives. This architecture, built under high security constraints, is critical as it will be used by several organizations who rely heavily on its reliability.

On a previous job, I worked as a system engineer at one of the 5 Regional Internet Registry ¹, the RIPE NCC (AS3333). My work was diversified and went around system administration with the responsibility for maintaining one of the 13 root name servers. I also managed a big data storage cluster and did some networking with Linux, BGP and IPv6.

I am passionate about network and system administration. My main expertise is network engineering, linux system administration (8+ years) and IaC (5+ years).

I worked for several companies such as Thales 🛩 , IBS (CEA) 🔬, OVHcloud ☁️ , RIPE NCC 🌍 and 📮 La Poste Groupe.

I hold Cisco CCNA, Red Hat RHCSA and Ripe Database Associate certifications. On track for 2025 :

Employment

I’m open to new opportunities, both remote and on-site. My ideal position would involve working in a mixed environment with networks, Linux systems and cloud technologies, with many challenges and high stakes. I may consider relocating.
